Below are only a few of our demo events. Pics and videos of each spot will be added soon, check back often, or don't check at all...

3 Days of Lighter winds, until the last day when it picked up. Billy Parker made an appearance showing off, and our Dominicans were out boosting everywhere, Johnny and Jose made their own Show! Cape Hatteras
4 Days of almost no wind, however we had to stop by and see the guys from SBC Kiteboard while doing their 2008 product reviews, and also visit our host, Brock Skiperdene, who showed us the hottest spots on the strand. Between off road fun and a short surf session, the wind picked up and the fun began. We had a chance to hang out with Dimitri of Eclipse, and the SBC guys. We stopped by the say hello to the local shops. The guys from Kitty Hawk have our kites, hope they have had a great demo! See you next time! Click here for the Pictures!

Matanzas
The Halloween Bash! Finally psycho winds made for an exciting event. Special thanks to Extreme Kites for an awesome event, and allowing us to share the air with them. Johnny and Jose showed us how high you can fly on a 9m Unleashed. Add in sideways rain and 30+ wind conditions, and you have yourself a fun event. The 11 mile downwind race went so fast the riders beat the cars to finish line.. not too many events can say that! Matanzas is virtually in our back yard, and we hope to spend more time there as the winds head our way! The latest video is on our front page!

Melbourne
AJ Morgan had us down for a demo day after receiving a 9m Unleashed to test drive. As AJ says, he had a truely epic wave session on our 9m and wanted to show the great people around the Melbourne area what Freak Dog is all about. Unfortunately it was light wind, so we launched our 15M Vicious, and showed everyone how strong a 15M can pull. Thanks guys for a great meet and greet, next time lets fly!

Jacksonville
The second stop on the collegiate tour, yeilded an incredible mix of killer wind, killer crowd, and a virtually private beach. At one point there were more than 40 kites up, and around 80 people on the beach. Among the crowd, there was FSU kite club, UCF kite club, Matt from Triton, (He was the MC) and a host of who knows who kiting, like mad. They held a few contests, what a site, unlike our light wind events, there was total chaos of riders everywhere. A few of the contestant had never ridden a "bow" before, so Freak Dog stepped up and set those riders up. As a result, FSU, UCF and few others will be using Freak Dog as their kites for their club members! Maybe one day those riders will win events on Freak Dogs! Thanks to everyone for having us there! We are free to visit anytime you have an event! |
